I am happy to offer my clients a range of massage and bodywork modalities in my beautiful private outdoor garden at my Laguna Niguel home. If weather conditions do not permit this, we can easily move inside to a private room. Of course, sanitation and cleanliness in this time of Covid are always given utmost attention.
I can also offer a mobile chair massage service and will go to Laguna Niguel, Laguna Hills, and other nearby OC locals, bringing my comfy massage chair, music, and wonderful aromatherapy scents, making it easier for those who have difficulty traveling. If you would like me to travel to you regularly, I highly recommend that you purchase a massage table for your home. Travel add-ons are noted at the bottom of this page.
Treatments:
Lomi Lomi Hawaiian Bodywork - This is my SIGNATURE massage and one of my favorite treatments to give. Also known as Temple Bodywork, this is an ancient form of Hawaiian massage that was used by Kahunas (elders or shamans) to bring on a state of "ho'oponopono," or being in alignment and conflict free. Using natural coconut oils and idyllic island music, I incorporate long flowing forearm strokes from head to toe and passive joint movements to bring you to a state of relaxation and bliss. Treatments last a minimum of 90 minutes or longer. My goal is to make you feel like you are on a Hawaiian beach under the swaying palm trees.

Customized Therapeutic Massage – I can customize treatments according to your special needs, whether they be mobility issues, muscle injuries, or chronic muscle or skeletal pain in the back, neck, shoulder, or anywhere they occur in the body. Therapeutic massage often involves a combination of deep tissue massage, myofascial techniques, neuromuscular therapies and trigger point release to address painful, stuck connective, joint and muscle tissue. Contrary to common belief, these deeper modalities should never be painful, and because I always begin with relaxing circulatory massage to warm up the muscles, this is a very pleasurable style of therapy. Benefits included increased flexibility, movement, skeletal alignment and pain resolution.

Oncology Massage - I especially love working with those people who have special needs to heal, and this light-touch massage is custom-tailored for clients facing cancer. Its purpose is to put the client in the best mental, physical and spiritual well-being for receiving medical treatments, and to provide relief from pain, anxiety, insomnia, and the various side effects from medications.

Swedish Massage - The classic style of circulatory massage uses a variety of strokes in the superficial layers of the body to elicit deep relaxation, enhanced circulation, improve immune response and provide a myriad of health benefits. You choose from a variety of wonderfully-scented essential oils for a soothing aromatherapy experience. Light but wonderful pressure.

Clinical/Medical Massage (Covered by Insurance) - If you have specific pain and physical issues that need addressing, such as sciatica, postural misalignment, sports injury or post-surgical rehabilitation, I will assess and customize our session according to your needs. This modality utilizes Muscle Energy Technique (MET) to improve musculoskeletal/joint function and eliminate adhesions and trigger points. MET requires pinpointing the pain, cross-fiber and other stimulation techniques, as well as actively contracting muscles to aid in the success of your treatment. This is called "Medical Massage" when prescribed by a doctor and covered by insurance.

CranioSacral Therapy - One of my favorite modalities, this is a relaxing, subtle technique that effects the cerebrospinal fluid of the brain and spinal cord, facilitating and correcting the system’s vital connection with the whole body. Excellent for headache, migraine, low-back pain and disc problems, and many other physical issues.

Zen-Style Shiatsu - Shiatsu is only available in my home treatment room in Laguna Niguel where I have a big soft mat set up on the floor. This style of bodywork is active and invigorating with the goal of achieving ying/yang balance and increased energy flow. I also incorporate stretches, active movements and compressions to enhance flexibility, vitality and well-being.

Sports Massage/Deep Tissue – Combined with circulatory massage to insure the tissues are completely warmed up, these styles of body work incorporated deeper work, deep compressions, cross-fiber techniques, stretching and range of motion in order to relieve sore and tight muscles from over-exertion or to maintain muscle tone.
